Shannon is an extremely talented singer, songwriter and keyboardist.
She won the first elimination round and the finals while simply sitting at a keyboard and bringin' the great songs. She
was up against all kinds of acts ... bands, solo singers, even novelty acts ... and captured the crown for one simple reason:
She was the best! It was my opinion from the first round in July that Shannon was the one to beat ... and no one could.

I must take a moment to thank Kathy Kelly for creating and producing the Winery Music Awards!
Kudos to Kathy for conceiving this wonderful event, and for working so hard to make it a resounding success!
It was a lot of very hard work!
I also must thank Kathy for treating me (and all the judges) so incredibly well, giving us all beautifully relaxing 'mini
vacations' in lovely accommodations, networking opportunities galore, and ... so much wonderful wine!
Everybody take notes ... if you're going to do something of this magnitude,
wine makes everyone very easygoing!
